Wednesday's Devotional - 8/05/2026

Good morning! Another passage from Psalm 119 that declares a determination and commitment to the truth. Not some truth or relative truth, but the absolute truth of God's word. Many people have a version of truth, but only God has absolute truth.

Have you chosen the way of the Lord or the way of the world? Have you let politics occupy a place in you that only God is supposed to fill? Have you let culture be the lens which you view the world? Have you let popular opinion guide your decisions?

Be careful allowing temporal, ever changing things be the source of your world view. God's judgment is right and just. Have you laid God's judgments of what is right and wrong before you? Make a determination and commitment to follow the truth of God's commands and statutes. Let His judgment of things be the final say in your decisions. Chose Him and you'll choose life. Live for Him, for He only is holy and true. His love is everlasting and will help keep you in the truth as you make a great day!
