Monday's Devotional - 9/14/2026

Good morning! In a world obsessed with categorizing people by status, background, and achievement, this verse acts as a radical reset. The Apostle Paul reminds us that the cross completely levels the playing field. At the foot of the cross, external labels lose their power to divide or define us.

God doesn't measure our worth by our social standing, cultural heritage, or personal credentials—He sees us through the lens of His Son, making every single believer a fully adopted child into His family. Living out this truth means changing how we view the people around us every day. How do you need your view of others to change to align with God's view?

Often, we focus on what divides us more than what makes us alike. The truth is, all have sinned and no one can undo their own sin. We all need a Savior and His name is Jesus Christ. In Him, there is no division by human classifications. He unites us at the cross where we see the payment for our sin and the offer of forgiveness was given to us.

Unity doesn't mean erasing our unique backgrounds, but rather recognizing that our shared identity in Jesus is far greater than anything that could pull us apart. What He did for us all far outweighs the temporal differences we could find to divide us. Ask God to help mold your views of others to be like His so you can love like He does and make a great day!
