Saturday's Devotional - 9/12/2026

Good morning! If you could count all of the things that compete for your attention in a day, I imagine it would be a very large number. Ads are constantly bombarding us everywhere we go and changing every thirty seconds or less. People are texting, tagging, commenting, messaging, emailing, calling...
It can be overwhelming at times. Not to mention the racing thoughts and all the tasks that need done in a day. The world and the enemy love to fill our lives with busyness and clutter. But how often do you stop the noise and focus on Jesus? In the midst of the chaos of everyday life, it can be hard to find peace. But this verse tells us the key to peace.
Not just any peace, but perfect peace. The key is to keep your mind on Jesus and trust in Him. That is the key that unlocks the door of perfect peace. In all the things you think about in a day, tune your ears and your mind into the still small voice of God and stay focused on Him. Invite Him into your day and to be at the center of your plans. He will help you, guide you and keep you in perfect peace so you can make a great day!
