Wednesday's Devotional - 7/15/2026

Good morning! This verse is a prophetic picture of what will happen when Christ physically returns a second time to rule and reign on the earth. This is talked about also in the book of Revelation 20:1-6.

This once meek and humble servant who came in a manger by way of a virgin and then died brutally on a rugged cruel beam of a cross will return as a roaring lion. He's not a baby in a manger anymore nor a broken man on a cross. He didn't stay in the grave and He will come back once again. Are you ready? Are you watching? Is you lamp filled with oil?

In all the uncertainties of this life in these present times, there is one thing you can be sure of: Jesus will return. He will take those home with Him who are watching and waiting for Him with pure hearts. Do you have bitterness, unforgiveness, resentment or hatred in your heart? Get rid of it and let Jesus cleanse you of all unrighteousness.

He will fill you with love, joy, peace and hope. Let Him rule your heart so you can be with Him forever in heaven. His love is too great for you to hold onto anything that stands in its way. Make room for Him so you will have His love fueling you to make a great day!
