Tuesday's Devotional - 8/04/2026

Good morning! This verse comes in a passage talking about walking with God. God has no fellowship with darkness and has no darkness (evil, sinfulness) in Him at all. If we want to have fellowship with Him, we have to desire to walk in righteousness.

The only way we can do that is to let Jesus cleanse us from our sin. We also have to choose to walk in the light of His life that shines in the darkness. When we choose light, we choose life. There is power in unity. If we all choose to walk in the light as Christ did, we have fellowship with each other and God.

Unity breaks strongholds. We may not agree on every issue on everything, but we can agree that without the blood of Jesus, we are all lost and without hope. That is the foundation of our faith. He alone forgives and cleanses us from sin. Walk in the light today as you go out and make a great day!
