Good morning! The world around us is ever changing and has a shelf life. As permanent as mountains and oceans may seem, they can all be gone under the right set of circumstances and conditions. We see evidence of this in science.

Mountains formed from earthquakes and the massive flood in Noah's day. Oceans changed because the land masses broke up and moved into continents. Even outer space is constantly changing. But God's word never changes and will last forever. No circumstance or condition will ever eradicate God's word.

Jesus points our focus from the temporal things around us to the unshakeable word, nature and being of Himself. All we know in this physical world will pass away but His words by no means will ever pass away. Take comfort in knowing there is a surety in this life that Jesus is the unshakeable anchor for us who believe.

Rather you face a shifting career, a diagnosis, a loss of a loved one or something that seems to shake your world, take courage and comfort in knowing Jesus' love, grace and truth are eternally stable to keep us in all situations. Fill your life with His word and He will give you the ability to always make a great day!
