Good morning! Psalm 138:8 reminds us that God is not only the author of our faith but also the one who faithfully brings His work in us to completion: "The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; do not forsake the works of Your hands." David expresses deep confidence that his life is not left to chance or dependent solely on his own strength.
Even in seasons of uncertainty, setbacks, or unanswered questions, God remains actively involved in shaping our character, guiding our steps, and fulfilling His purposes. His steadfast love never expires, giving us reason to trust Him with both today's challenges and tomorrow's unknowns. This verse encourages us to surrender our need to control every outcome and rest in God's faithful care.
He does not abandon the work He has begun in our lives. Instead, He patiently molds us through every joy and hardship, using each experience to draw us closer to Him. When we feel unfinished, inadequate, or discouraged, we can remember that God's hands are still at work. Our role is to remain faithful, trusting that His enduring love will sustain us until His purpose is fulfilled. Remember His love, mercy, and promises as you face today so you can make it a great day!
