Thursday's Devotional - 9/10/2026

Good morning! This Psalm puts a strong emphasis on the word of God. Early in, it states, "Hide your word in my heart that I might not sin against You." We need to take a hold of that because the word is truth. If we hide the truth in our hearts, we can have the ammo we need to combat against lies, evil and temptation.

If we see it as just rules and regulations, we will miss the heart of the law. The heart of the law is the heart of God to protect His people. It's not just like an angry dictator's decree for compliance. It is based on love to restore people back to the Father, keep evil from causing destruction in people's lives and guiding us in the ways of righteousness.

We have great peace when the law becomes a delight because we stay in the will and favor of God. We do not stumble because it's not based on performance, but relationship. If you love God, you will love His law and keep it. Let Him write the law on your heart that you may stay under His protection and guidance to help you everyday to make a great day!
