Thursday's Devotional - 8/06/2026

Good morning! Peter never understood himself until He had a true revelation of who Jesus is. The Father revealed who Jesus is to Peter. Then, Jesus revealed who Peter was. We have to see Jesus properly before we can see anything else clearly.

When we agree with heaven about who Jesus is, we have a true vision of how to see the world and ourselves. Our identity can only truly be found in the one who created us. Knowing Him will lead to us knowing ourselves. Apart from Jesus, we will always have a distorted lens we look through to see clearly.

The Pharisees saw Jesus as just another man, but Peter got a revelation and saw Jesus as the Son of God. How do you see Jesus? He is not just some religious leader. He is the Christ, the Messiah, the Savior, the Son of the living God. When you see Him correctly, you will see everything else through the lens of truth. See Jesus for who He truly is and you'll be able to judge properly and make each day a great day!
