Thursday's Devotional - 7/09/2026

Good morning! The times we live in can bring a lot of uncertainty. There is a lot of instability in the world and the economy. Trying to keep a consistent budget is tough right now and has to adjusted for the fluctuating prices of things. But it doesn't have to makes us anxious or worried.

We serve a mighty God who is faithful in all things and at all times. The church in Thessalonica had turmoil about the uncertainty of things in their time too. The Apostle Paul even told them what it would look like Jesus was about to return to encourage them and us who came much later. He reminds us that the Lord is faithful.

Sometimes, it seems really hard to remember and believe that, but God has never failed or been unfaithful even when humans have. He establishes us in faith and guards us by His power. He is sovereign over all and the enemy cannot truly hurt us when our lives are hidden in Christ. Take courage today that God is faithful and protects His children. Keep this in mind so fear has no place in you as you make a great day!
