Good morning! Sometimes, you don't need to have the answers or the right things to say. You just need to be there for those who are hurting, grieving, going through tough times or hardship. There are also times you need to be there for those who are succeeding and doing well.
Sometimes, those who do well are more lonely than those who are weeping. Especially if they are the only one's in the circle of friends who are doing well at the moment. Two types of people who often end up isolated are those who are doing well and those who are hurting.
Often, people don't know how to handle other people's success without being jealous. On the flip side, sometimes people don't know how to deal with emotional distraught so they avoid people who are hurting. You don't need to be great at counseling to help someone. Just be present.
Those who win, celebrate them like you would want others to do for you if you were in their place. When people hurt, hurt with them and let the comfort of the Holy Spirit keep you company. Be present in people's lives. It may be you one day needing someone. Be like Christ who is like a friend who sticks closer than a brother as you help each other make a great day!
