Thursday's Devotional - 10/01/2026

Good morning! I used to struggle with the love of God. I couldn't believe He could love me. Once I knew He did, then I had to believe He did. But my revelation of His love was found when I had a revelation of Him.

I had to understand who He is before I could understand the why behind His love. Once I understood that God is love, I accepted that He loved me. It is because love is what He is so love is what He does.

He didn't love me because I was worthy of love or somehow earned it. He loved me because it is His nature and goodness to love. So His love is not based on our ability to be lovable. It's based on His nature and goodness. Love is who He is.

We just have to learn to live in that love. When we let His love live in us, He abides in us and His love abides in us too. If you struggle with God's love for you, let me tell you something I wish I knew sooner. Let Him love you. If He desires to love you, who are you to stand in His way? Let His love abide in you so you will always be able to make a great day!
