Friday's Devotional - 10/23/2026

Good morning! Israel had always had a problem with idolatry. They chased after other gods which is why they always needed bailed out of bondage and slavery. Time and time again, God showed His sovereignty over every enemy and His love for His people by delivering them from calamity.

They had a strong witness for who God is and how He delivers them. No other god had ever come to their rescue. No other god gave them deliverance. Only the one true God can do it and did do it. He would declare over them what He would do and then do it with complete victory.

In what ways have you seen God show His sovereignty in your life? How has He come through time and time again? Remember all the ways He has done what He said He would do and how He has never failed. He alone is God. He alone is worthy of worship, honor and praise. Don't chase after other things or other gods. Don't trust in your own ability, money, position or status. He alone is God. Remember Him in all things at all times as you make a great day!
