Thursday Devotional - 7/23/2026

Good morning! One of the greatest weapons of spiritual warfare is worship and praise of God. The enemy hates when you ignore his attacks and focus on God instead. Many attacks are designed to break your focus and get your attention of the One who has the answers to your problems.

A determination to worship and praise is important for winning spiritual battles. Often, we don't always perceive our troubles as spiritual in nature. But we don't wrestle against flesh and blood but spiritual enemies. Praise and worship invokes God's presence into the situation.

When God shows up, the enemy scatters in fear. He'd rather you be afraid of him than to fear God. But God's love welcomes us into His presence and His word gives us ammunition to fight. His word is exalted above His name as a testimony of His faithful character and loving nature. Trust the Lord and worship Him. Praise His name when trouble comes and know He fights for those who love Him and gives you strength to make every day a great day!
