Good morning! Jesus is the light of the world. Though the world tried to snuff out the light of the world, He cannot be overcome. He still shines into the darkness and we who are in Him are to shine His light in this dark world.
We who are in Christ, when we walk in the light as He did, we have fellowship with each other in a way the world knows nothing about. We have a deep connection that goes beyond social gatherings.
The world connects with alcohol, sex, music that celebrates sin and brokenness and other ways that displease God. People with a lot of money are often surrounded by many "friends" until the money runs out or they cut of the spending. Then they find who is really true friends or not.
Jesus is the true friend that sticks closer than a brother and laid down His life for us. His own blood is divine and the only thing that cleanses us from our sins. This gives us a connection beyond what the world can offer. In a world full of darkness, dare to walk in the light as make a great day!
