Good morning! Jesus had cleared the temple, taught about the seriousness of sin and shown the importance of forgiveness. He would be tested on His teachings as Judas began to plot with the religious leaders to betray Him for money.
Sometimes, it's those closest to you that do the worst things to betray you. Jesus understands your hurt, anger and injustice. Jealousy and greed will cause people to do all manner of evil things against people they say they love. How you respond to it in your life makes the difference between freedom and bondage.
If you forgive as Jesus did, you will have no room in your life for Satan to reside. If you hold onto the offense, bitterness will be your beverage and the enemy will feed your pain. If Jesus can forgive all that was done to Him for all the sins of the world, you can forgive too. Eternity is not worth giving up over the metaphorical thirty pieces of silver that was used to purchase your betrayal. Let go, let Jesus take up the place in you that is hurt and learn to heal as you make a great day!
