Sunday's Devotional - 7/12/2026

Good morning! Many people do a lot of things to preserve their life. They spend thousands of dollars looking for a "fountain of youth." The hope of eternal life seems to elude them by the way they want to live in this life forever.

The fact is, there is no fountain of youth or way to preserve this physical life forever. It is a fleeting idea and practice. The Bible promises we will all die apart from Jesus' return. All the things we could do and gain in this world will be worthless, especially since we will not be here forever to enjoy it.

But, if we put our hope in Christ and live for Him and His kingdom, we will surely inherit eternal life in heaven. We will enjoy the rewards of that for all of eternity when we put our trust in Christ. Jesus promises that we will be with Him forever as believers. I'm not putting my hope in the temporal things of this life. I will put my hope in the One who created it all and has a place for me in eternity with Him. Hold fast to Jesus knowing He alone is the key to eternal living as you make a great day!
