Good morning! People often invest so that their money is worth more when they retire. They will work and work for the shortest, most uncertain amount of time of their lives to be enjoyed. Oftentimes, at great expense of family time, milestones with kids and personal friendships.

What are you investing for? The greatest investment you can ever have is to give your life to Jesus. The retirement plan is literally out of this world. We live in a world that constantly pushes us to accumulate—more status, more security, more numbers in a bank account, and more applause from people who are ultimately just as fleeting as we are.

It is remarkably easy to spend a lifetime climbing a ladder of success, only to realize too late that it was leaning against the wrong wall. Jesus doesn't ask this question to minimize our hard work or our daily needs; He asks it to rescue us from a terrible trade. He invites us to step off the exhausting treadmill of chasing temporary validation and instead invest our limited days into what truly lasts.

Today, take a deep breath and let go of the pressure to conquer the world. Your soul is already infinitely valuable to the One who made it, and true life is found not in what you can gather, but in what you are willing to surrender to Him. Whatever you have withheld from Him, release it today and let Him fill you with Himself which satisfies long after everything else fades away. Do this and you will discover the secret to always making it a great day!
