Sunday's Devotional - 6/14-2026

Good morning! There will be a sound that is loud enough to heard all over the world when Jesus returns. It will happen quickly, suddenly and without warning. There are signs leading up to the event, but no one knows the exact date and time.

Jesus told us about the event. He said two will be in the field together working and one will be taken, the other one left (Matthew 24;40). This passage today is meant to encourage us. Be ready, be watchful and be expectant for His return.

We also have hope for those who knew the Lord and passed away. They will be resurrected as they are caught up in the air. We who are alive will see them and be right behind them to meet the Lord in the air.

I believe Scripture tells us of two separate events of Christ's return. This passage is about the rapture. Later, in Revelation 20:5-6, we come back with Him to rule and reign on the earth for one thousand years before Armageddon. Rather you believe in the rapture or not is up to you. But there will be a second coming without debate and you need to be ready for it. Live like you expect His return and know with hope so you can always make a great day!
