Saturday's Devotional - 9/26/2026

Good morning! God is not a seasonal God. He doesn't show up for a specific time frame and then leave us. He sticks with us even when the world says we are too old to useful. We are never too old or outdated for God to love, use or value. He always cares.

When our strength is drying up, He carries us. He is never weak and never runs out of strength. He is the everlasting God. He made us in our mother's womb and He will bear us all the way to the tomb if He should tarry.

He will carry us, sustain us and deliver us. My wife works in long-term care. She often sees people who have outlived most if not all their loved ones. The often try to find worth, value or a reason for living. It's often hard for them to see it in their condition.

She always encourages them that God still has purpose for them even if they don't see it right now. They can always pray for those on the front lines. The same God who made you will carry you even to your old age. Take courage in this as rest in Him and make a great day!
