Saturday's Devotional - 8/01/2026

Good morning! I look back on what Jesus saved me from and feel embarrassed and ashamed by what I did. I don't look back on my life with fondness for what I used to do. I am grateful to be saved, forgiven and redeemed from all that I did.

Knowing what I have been freed from, how could I be ashamed of Him who freed me? The good news of Jesus Christ is the message that saved me and gave me eternal hope. I found the cure to my condition of sin and want everyone to know that they too may have the same joy and peace that I have.

It is the power that saves everyone of every race, creed, gender, sex and nationality. For all who believe, it is the power of God's amazing grace at work in us to empower us to walk away from the sinful life we once lived without ever needing to look back. Praise God for His saving power, endless mercy and amazing grace! Thank Him today for this as you make a great day!
