Saturday's Devotional - 6/27/2026

Good morning! As we see and experience the goodness of God in creation, we can also experience it with intimacy with Him. Since the fall of mankind, our nature has been changed. We have a natural ability and propensity to do evil. We have to learn how to do good even from a very young age.

We can recognize good gifts from bad. A scorpion or snake given to a toddler is a bad gift. There are much better gifts suited for a tot. If we who have a fallen nature can recognize this, how much more can God? He knows how to give the best of gifts. He gave us the best when He gave us Jesus to be the sacrifice for our sins. But He doesn't stop giving good gifts.

If we just ask in sincere faith with pure motives, He will give us the Holy Spirit who helps us to live a righteous life. He develops our character, helps us have godly attributes and gives us the power to walk away from sin and be an effective witness for Christ. Ask the Father for the best gifts and He will fill you with the Holy Spirit to help you live a godly life and to make each day a great day!
