Monday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! If I'm honest with you, these verses are a struggle for me at times. I don't always feel like singing. I definitely don't always feel like joyfully shouting. I'm not always thankful. How about you?

It's not always easy to do these things especially when you are facing challenges or circumstances that are very difficult to navigate. But when you love God, you do it anyway. Not because it's some rule, but because you love Him.

Love gets you through a lot of difficult situations that would be easier to give up on. Love teaches you to discipline yourself to do the things you don't want to do. Intentionally finding things to be thankful for will give you a heart of gratitude. Then you will be able to come before the Lord with joy singing to Him with songs of thanksgiving. Teach yourself to do the tough things and it will change everything and teach you how to make each day a great day!
