Monday's Devotional - 9/21/2026

Good morning! I am really glad that someone cared enough about me to share the gospel with me. They didn't worry about offending me, being rejected or even their own personal well-being. They just shared Jesus with me because they knew I needed it.

In fact, my wife, Kelly, is responsible for me knowing Jesus. It was 28 years ago that I got saved on September 20-21, 1998 over the midnight hour. I'm very glad that those who reached out to me were just normal church folks. Not a pastor or evangelist or some leader, but just average people who loved Jesus.

They reached out to me, lifted me up from my hopeless despair and connected with me in a relationship that made me feel welcomed, accepted, wanted and loved. I felt like I belonged for the first time in my life. They genuinely cared about me and prayed for me. They loved the literal hell right out of me. And now I'm free!

Never be afraid to share the love of Jesus with others. You never know what someone is going through and how much the small acts can make the biggest impacts. It was never intended for the "church professionals" to reach the lost only. It is the burden of heaven that should be in the heart of every believer. Share your faith to someone today. You never know what life may be changed by your obedience that could help them know how to make a great day!
