Monday's Devotional - 6/08/2026

Good morning! Love is supposed to be kind, not rude. One of the rudest things people do is to interrupt others in the middle of their sentence or thought. Some people only listen to respond rather than to understand.

They love to argue so they can just prove themselves right. Sometimes, you can be right and still be wrong because you're attitude is not right. Listening is a skill that is needed in today's world.

Be quick to listen and really pay attention to every word. Be slow to react and respond. Take great thought and prayer before you respond and if you really need to respond. Keep your emotions in check and do not let anger rule your reactions.

Try to understand and to be understanding. Sometimes, you become the scapegoat for what is really going on internally that has nothing to do with you. Love is a great motive. Keep love at the forefront of all you do so you can always put this verse into practice and make a great day!
