Friday's Devotional - 8/21/2026

Good morning! In all the temporal things there are in this life, one thing we can trust to last forever: the truth of God's word. His truth, righteousness and judgments will endure forever. He alone is holy and faithful.

Jesus emphasized this when He said, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words by no means will ever pass away." in Matthew 24:35. We have assurance in an unsure world of a standard of truth. While everyone is screaming truth is relative, God gives us a clear litmus test by which all other "truths" are measured by.

We can know with great certainty of God's everlasting truth. It has endured the most scrupulous of investigations and stood the test of time. All of His word is absolute truth. All of His judgments are perfect. He alone is holy and just. Keep looking to Him and the truth of His word to help you have the wisdom to make a great day!
