Friday's Devotional - 7/31/2026

Good morning! This passage reminds us of the incredible truth that "in Christ all the fullness of the Godhead lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness." Jesus is not merely a teacher or a prophet; He is fully God, possessing all power, wisdom, and authority.

Because we are united with Him through faith, we do not need to search elsewhere for spiritual fulfillment or acceptance. Everything we truly need for our relationship with God is found in Christ. This passage also encourages us to live with confidence and gratitude.

The world often tells us that we need more to be complete. More success, more recognition, or more achievements. Yet Paul reminds believers that our identity and completeness are already secure in Jesus. As we trust Him each day, we can rest in His sufficiency, knowing that He equips us to face life's challenges and grow in faith. Instead of striving to earn God's favor, we are invited to live from the fullness He has already given us through Christ.

He is all powerful, all knowing and all sovereign. Trust in His absolute authority to complete you in all areas of your life. There is nothing in your life that is unable to be subject to His authority. He can speak or act and change everything in an instant. Trust His ability and power to be enough for everything in your life to be made complete as you make a great day!
