Friday's Devotional - 7/03/2026

Good morning! Men have a unique role and responsibility to watch over their wives and kids. Not just physically, but spiritually. Husbands are to treat their wives like Christ treated the church. His love is our example.

The purpose of loving the way Jesus did is to do for wives what Christ did for the church: serve, sanctify and cleanse. Husbands should bathe their wives and kids in the word of God to wash away the pollution of this world.

Diligence is how we guard against the enemy's attacks. It's hard to surprise an alert watchman. Men, be diligent and watchful over your families. Love them like Jesus loves the church. Give of yourself with the purpose of knowing your love sanctifies and cleanses them of the things of this world. Do your best to see that they know Jesus. Freedom is worth the cost of the battle. Let your love be like Christ's as you do everything to make a great day!
