Wednesday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! The word of God, the Bible, is all the inerrant, inspired word of God. He breathed on the writers to move their hearts to write His word. It's as if the Holy Spirit guided their hand to pen the words so the message of heaven would be perfectly recorded.

Sixty six books, forty authors, written over a fifteen hundred year period of time with over sixty three thousand cross references. There's never been another book anything like it. It is not meant for us to use as a weapon against each other or as a springboard for our agendas. It is not meant to be manipulated for our own personal gain.

It is meant for sound doctrine for living a godly life. It is for correction when we find ourselves or others in the body in error. It is for discipline for those who refuse to repent. It is for instruction in all things righteous. It is for us to know our Creator and His will for our lives. It is to equip us for every good work and to make us mature in the fullness of the stature of Christ. Read it daily and apply it liberally to your life that you may know how to make every day a great day!
