Wednesday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! When the time was right, God sent His Son as a child to pay the ransom for our sin, so that we could become His children. He brought Him through the right lineage, the right tribe, the right woman's womb at the right time.

God knows what He is doing! He brought Jesus into the world under the law to redeem those under the law to become adopted as legitimate children. This is the gospel. He sent Him for the children of Israel first, but not only for them, but for all non-Jews as well.

Everyone has hope now because of Jesus. We can all be legitimate children of God through adoption. We only have to go through the process of adoption. That means we accept the payment made in the court of heaven and the terms of being in the family of God. Turn from sin, allow Jesus to umpire your life, allow the Holy Spirit to govern your desires and live for God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.

You will be a member of God's household, can call God your Father and have peace that surpasses all understanding. Being a child of God is a privilege granted to all who will believe and follow Jesus. Believe and follow Him as you go about this season and make each day a great day!
