Wednesday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! The Lord wanted to give definitive signs to make sure people wouldn't miss the Messiah when He showed up. A virgin becoming pregnant and giving birth is a major sign. It's only happened once in history and will only ever happen this one time.

God with us through a baby. Isn't it amazing how He came as the most vulnerable of people in the humblest of circumstances? Yet, through adversity, He rose to the full stature of a Man and showed us what it looks like when God comes to earth to love, heal, correct and release heaven on earth. What sign is needed for you to believe?

How many miracles will it take? How many signs will be needed? See, it's not the lack of signs, wonders, miracles or evidence, but a hard heart that keep people from believing. Don't be like the religious leaders of the day who hardened their heart and missed the moment their Messiah showed up.

Don't be so full of Bible that you can quote anything from memory but yet have a hard heart that doesn't recognize God when He shows up in your life. Let the signs move your heart to Him in love. It was because of His love for you that He came. I pray you encounter His love this season in ways that refresh you and prepares you to receive Him in new ways as you make a great day!
