Wednesday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Our culture and even the world are in political unrest. Division, wars, rumors of wars...we're headed into the the last of the last days. How we as the church respond will announce to the world and the enemy who we serve and is the Lord of our lives. How are you responding?

We must be watchful and faithful in prayer. We must be petitioning heaven and interceding for earth. We must have a heart of gratitude despite all the reasons we have to complain. We must not neglect the turmoil we see and continue to lift up those in authority to make godly decisions with heavenly wisdom.

Pray God send them godly counsel and an open heart to receive it. Let us seek to live quiet and peaceable lives that doesn't reflect the tumultuous chaos we see around us. Let us revere God and seek to live in His precepts as His own holy people called to be conformed to the image of His likeness. Pray and be diligent to let heaven invade your heart so the world will have no place there as you make a great day!
