Wednesday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! When we understand that God loves us and has a plan for our lives, it should inspire us to live differently. We can recognize the lies of this world that try to tell us all kinds of things about who we are or who we should be.

We don't need to conform to the patterns of this world. The way it thinks, the behavior it demonstrates, the lifestyle it engages in and its attitude towards the things of God are not our portion or example. The Lord is our portion and Jesus is our example for living.

When we know what God thinks about us, we don't need to imbibe the affirmations of the world or the enemy. We can transform our thinking through His word to renew our minds to see ourselves as He sees us. To think about ourselves as He does and to live as He commands and not as the world demands.

Allow your thinking to align with the dialog of heaven. Let the word of God transform the thoughts you have towards yourself that God has for you. Let Jesus be the example you aspire to and the perfect will of God be done in your life so, in everything, you can always make a great day!
