Good morning! Identity is a very important issue. Who you believe you are will dictate everything you do, say and believe in life. You can never truly know who you are until you know who Christ is and see Him the way He truly is.
When we have a worldly view of Christ, we will see a silhouette of His true image. We will not see His true authority, sonship or placement in the kingdom of God. If we don't recognize Jesus for who He truly is, how can we ever truly see ourselves or anyone else?
When you recognize Jesus as the Creator (John 1:1-5; Colossians 1:15-18; Hebrews 1:1-4) then you will understand true identity, self-esteem, self-worth and all authority comes from Him. Do you see Him as He is or with a distorted perception through clouded eyes?
When you see Him for who He truly is, you begin to understand who you are. To bear His image, be filled with His love and to do the work He has prepared for you to carry out. We get to have fellowship with Him and see the world through His eyes when we see Him for who He truly is. Ask Him to give you clear vision to see Him as He is, others how He sees them and yourself the way He sees you so you can confidently make a great day!
