Wednesday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! One day, everyone will be judged by God. That is a scary thought because I know I'm not perfect. I have to choose to die daily to myself and submit to Christ as Lord of my life.

As Christians, we don't have the same judgment as unbelievers. We will be judged differently for what we did with our belief. Unbelievers will be judged for their unbelief and ignoring the evidence of God.

Rather you believe or not, you will be judged by God and will bow before Him. You will declare He is Lord and God. There won't be a choice then and will be too late to repent of unbelief. Turn to Jesus and let His blood cleanse your sins. Confess Him as God willingly now and He won't force you to later in judgment.

Getting to say the name of your Savior is a privilege that is entirely better than having to say it in judgment for your unbelief. Love the Lord for His goodness and mercy towards you and you will see what it's like to live a life of peace and true freedom. It is better than fear, bitterness and cynicism. Let the Lord's love liberate you so every day can be a great day!
