Good morning! Jesus knew what would happen to Him and how brutal the cost would be to fulfill the mission and purpose of His life. The most amazing part is, He knew and went through with it anyway. He didn't try to delay, manipulate or change it. He just did it.
He prepared His followers for the event. He didn't want them to be unaware. If they hadn't known what would happen, they never would have looked for Him to resurrect. Their faith would not have survived the tragedy. But Jesus prepared them so they could endure.
Have you spent time with Jesus to prepare for what lies ahead? He not only predicted His trials, death by crucifixion and resurrection, but He pulled it off. He also told us of what was to come later. Perilous times of persecution, trials and tribulations and even martyrdom would happen.
We haven't outlived those things. They will happen, but Jesus has told us to prepare us. Are you prepared? I don't know when or to what degree, but hard times will come before His return. Be ready by studying the word. Those who are ready will be caught up in the twinkling of an eye. Study what Jesus said and prepare yourself so you can not be worried but make each day a great day!
