Wednesday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! The word tells us that disobedience causes generational curses to the fourth generation. It also tells us that obedience causes generational blessings to the thousandth generation. Which sounds better to you?

Legacy is important. I'd love to be able to leave my kids with wealth that outlives them, but I'd rather leave them with a legacy of faith that outlives every generational curse ever put on my family's heritage. So, I have to be diligent, even with my teenagers, to teach the word of God.

They need wisdom and prudence to know how to serve God in all situations with integrity. They have to see it lived out in my life or whatever I say will fall on deaf ears. I have to make the word a priority in my life or they will never see it as a necessity.

Teach your kids the word of God and make it a priority in your life. Make time for family devotions and build a legacy that God can bless beyond the memory of your name. Make the most of every opportunity and make a great day!
