Good morning! Labor is an important part of life. Without working, we have no sense of meaning, purpose or contribution. Society has lost this in a lot of people and is suffering deeply because of it.
Without work, poverty is inevitable. It is not the life God has designed for us to live. On the other hand, some people's whole identity is in the work they do. Many people retire and die just a few months later because they feel they have no reason to exist.
Our work should be based on our relationship with God. We work because He worked and modeled for us a life of productivity. It is not who we are, it's just a part of what we do. If we commit our labor to the Lord, it will always have meaning and purpose no matter what it is we do or the age we are.
Work hard, make plans and do it all to glorify God and the plans will be established by God. He likes a diligent worker who has their identity set in Him and not in their labors. As long as we desire to please God in all we do, no matter what we do, it will always bring fulfillment. Go out and work for the Lord as you make a great day!
