Wednesday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Updated: Apr 25

Good morning! People usually have limits of how far they are willing to go for someone. Many people are unwilling to die for a stranger, but Jesus came and died for us while we were strangers to Him in our sin.

No longer do we have to be strangers and foreigners to Him, but now we are children; heirs and joint-heirs with Christ. He died for us like a husband would for His wife and family to save them.

Through His death, we have the opportunity to be saved if we put our trust in Him. There will always be struggle against sin, but Jesus' blood is forever on the mercy seat interceding for us. God's love and grace are abounding and abundant toward us.

Keep your faith in Him, be grateful for the expensive gift, stay in His love and walk away from sin every chance you get. Jesus demonstrated God's love through His death on a cross. Never treat it frivolously. His love is not common, so remember the cost of your sin and the price He paid for your eternal life. Keep this in mind and make a great day!
