Good morning! I remember being a kid and my parents making me promises to do something and then not coming through. Though they had good intentions, they kept putting off what they promised until I got to old for them to keep that promise.
It bothered me, but when I came to Jesus, I forgave them. When I became a parent, I saw how easy it was to get busy and how easy it is to just keep putting off things. The Lord, however, does not put off or get too busy to keep His promises. He is faithful.
He puts off judgment because He wants no one to die in their sin. He desires all to come to repentance and receive eternal life through the gift of His Son. People will fail you, but God never will.
He doesn't always give us what we want, but He always gives us what is best. He is faithful even when we are not. Trust in His promises and know His desire is for people to be saved and not go to hell. Keep praying, keep petitioning Him and believe He will answer, for His will is that none perish, but all come to repentance. Have faith in His promises and go make a great day!
