Saturday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! What do you think your life is worth? What price would you put on your life? Weird question, I know, but some people have no idea what they are worth. They sell themselves for a cheap thrill, momentary wealth or pleasure and many other things that have a shelf life.

But God put a value on you with the life of His own Son. Turning to Him and accepting this precious and costly gift will give you eternal life, which is something money can't buy and has no shelf life or expiration date. What have you decided your life is worth?

Is what you want in this life worth the cost of eternal life in heaven? Is hell worth the price? I promise you, whatever this world can offer is nothing in comparison to what awaits you in heaven. If you turn from your sin, receive the forgiveness paid for by Jesus and live for Him, you will inherit eternal life in heaven.

God thought you were worth the price of admission to send His only Son to pay the penalty for your sins, so that you can live with Him forever. The devil isn't going to pay one cent for you. He charges you for the "privilege" temporary pleasure in this life and an eternity in hell. When you lose your life in Christ, you find eternal life in Him. Think on this, make the right choice and make it a great day!
