Wednesday's Devotional - 8/12/2026

Good morning! Endurance is a quality needed in the kingdom. It takes diligence and discipline. You have to choose to let go of the things that distract you from God's ultimate purpose and mission. It takes leaving the past in the past so you don't carry the weight of it into your future.

Your future has no room for your past. It taught you some lessons but the burden of it will only hold you back from the freedom only God provides. It's not easy and Jesus never promised that it would be. He just promised to be with you all the way to the end. It takes a determination to press into the call of God.

There are all kinds of things that try to press us and depress us. You have to push past those things and push until you get to the feet of Jesus. Press until you get a glimpse of His glory. Press towards the eternal destiny that God has called us to and the heavenly place He has prepared for us to dwell with Him forever. He is our prize so press toward Him as you make a great day!
