Sunday's Devotional - 8/30/2026

Good morning! Death is often one of the most frightening things because of all the unknowns with it. If we know Jesus holds us in His hands, what do we really have to fear? If He hods our life in His hands, He therefore holds our death in His hands too.

He has our physical and spiritual lives in His hands. If we live, we should live fearlessly doing all we can for the Kingdom. If we die, we are ushered into heaven to be with our Savior. What is there to be afraid of, really?

Threaten me with heaven all you want. If we have no fear of death, we should have no fear of life either. We live for Him and we die for Him because we belong to Him. He holds our life in His hands both now and in eternity. So why fear? What holds you back from doing all you can for Him? A believer has nothing to fear except the Lord. And when we are His, we have no fear in His love. It doesn't mean we live recklessly, but we don't become cowards either. We live for Him in the fullness of joy and let Him give us the strength to do all we can to make a great day!
