Good morning! It is hard to find someone who has gone through the unimaginable pain and loss as Job. He lost everything he owned, children, health, respect, friends and even his wife told him to just give up, curse God and die. Yet, his response is unbelievable.
He said right after losing it all, "The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord!" He chose to have faith and worship despite his circumstances. True faith is not circumstantial. Anyone can have faith when life is good and things are easy.
What happens when trials, tribulations and tragedies come? Is your worship to God the same? Does your heart speak differently about Him in bad times than in good times? Faith sees hope beyond the current reality. It sees a way out because hope knows in whom it has believed.
Job did not yet see the end of his situation nor did he know about Jesus. But he had faith to know God would not leave him abandoned. He understood he believed in a Redeemer. Faith saw the Messiah and believed for the prophesies to be fulfilled. Be like Job and cling to the hope of heaven and the redemption of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. He lives and will once again return and stand on the earth. Be encouraged and know faith will get you through to make it a great day!
