Tuesday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! There is a serious war going on but it's not what most people are making out to be. They're making it about people, parties, policies, rights and ideologies. It's about spiritual warfare between the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of darkness.

It looks like Republican verses Democrat, ICE verse immigrants, pro-life verses pro-choice and many other hot button issues. But it is simply Satan and his demons verses God and His holy angels. It is not against the people you see who oppose the views you have on issues you're passionate about.

We must remember the true fight is not against flesh and blood, but against the evil, demonic forces at work in the heavenly places. We defeat them through surrender to God, prayer, the truth of the Bible, worship and loving others like Jesus. Stand against evil by putting on the armor of God.

The armor is spiritual clothing and weaponry that defeats all Satanic power. Jesus used it to defeat the devil himself. We must learn from His example and do the same. As the days grow evil, we must stand more firmly upon the Rock. We must fill ourselves with truth and love. Bow before God and He with strengthen you to stand against all evil. Remember who your real enemy is and stand firm in the armor as you make a great day!
