Tuesday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Until you have a revelation of Christ as Lord of all, you will never truly be sober-minded. You will be in a delusion from the lies of the enemy. That's a dangerous place to be because you are gambling with eternity.

What you believe about Jesus Christ determines how and where you will spend eternity. If you truly believe, trust and live for Him, you will live forever in heaven. If you do not, you will exist in a constant state of dying in the lake of fire. I know, that's not popular or comforting, but what good is it to save people's feelings and watch them lose their souls for eternity? As believers, we must keep ourselves in the word of God to keep us from being deceived. We must remain in the truth and live in the truth. Apart from Jesus, there is no truth. To know Him and be forgiven of your sins is the amazing grace of God.

Let this grace draw you to Him and away from the magnet of the world that lures you into sin. Don't listen to the lies propagated by the father of lies being spewed forth all over the air waves. He is the prince and the power of the air. But Jesus is the King of all creation! I'd rather serve the King than be used by the prince. Stay sober-minded by the truth as you make a great day!
