Tuesday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Part of the will of God is to act differently than the world. Right now, the world is acting foolish like God isn't real and that life has no value. They are loud, rude, hateful, unthankful, violent, inebriated and lewd. How you react to this will reveal your alignment with God's will or not.

We don't need to shout, scream, throw fits of rage and be violent towards those who act foolish. We can know what, why and in whom we believe and readily defend the gospel with poise and tact instead. Our liberty should not cause people to miss the grace of God but to point them to Jesus to encounter His grace for themselves.

We are not free to do whatever we want, but have given ourselves over to the Lordship of Christ to do whatever He wants. That is what it means for Him to be our Lord and for us to be His bondservant. He paid the debt of our bond with His own blood. Let us live for Him in thanksgiving for His amazing grace. Do good, bless those who hurt and persecute you and let love be your motive as you make a great day!
