Good morning! Sometimes, my kids would do something that got them into trouble, as all kids do, especially when they were younger. They were afraid of what my wife and I would think of them, not just the punishment they might receive.
They had to be taught that no matter what they did, it didn't change that we loved them. They learned punishment was correction for bad behavior because that would teach them consequences for their actions. We wanted the best for them and still do. Our thoughts haven't changed towards them even after all the mistakes they have made over the years.
No matter what you have done, it doesn't change that God still loves you. You need to know that just like my kids know that. It doesn't give you a right to do whatever you want to without consequences just because God loves you. But it does assure you that God's thoughts towards you are for success and not failure. For good, not evil. He has a plan, a hope and a future for you.
Will you walk in His plans and live in His will? God not only knows what is best for you, but wants you to know what that is so, you can live it out. Take courage that God loves you and wants what is best for you. Do your best to discover His plan for your life through prayer and study of the word. You'll discover your purpose and learn how to make each day a great day!
