Tuesday's Verse of the Day Devotional

Good morning! Since ancient times, man has been making gods for himself and worshiped false gods. In Elijah's day, they chanted, called out, venerated and even mutilated their own bodies trying to get their gods to answer. But, they never did, but the one true God did answer.

He answered in an undeniable way to prove He is real and true. Many people today are trying to conjure up answers from their gods but just like in Elijah's day, they are silent. But our God still speaks today and is giving undeniable answers if we would just listen and stop making excuses for why we refuse to believe.

God answers when we call out to Him in faith. We can love Him and feel His love for us. He is the only God who has not required us to provide our own means of salvation. He said we can't do it, so He came down Himself as Jesus to live perfectly under the law, die viciously on the cross and resurrect victoriously under His own power three days later.

Call out to Jesus, the one true God, and receive the answers to your prayers. He won't require you to mutilate or harm yourself to make Him listen. He doesn't manipulate you or misuse you. He doesn't exploit you or seek to destroy you. He loves you and will fight for you. Praise His name today as you call upon His name and learn to make each day a great day!
