Good morning! Communication is important. Without communication, there is no community or relationship that can survive. How we communicate is just as important in order to have a peaceful existence in a society.

Rather it is spoken or written, what we say and the tone we use to say it can make the difference between resolving conflict or fueling it. Being kind and careful can diffuse anger. Listening to understand can give wisdom and insight to what is really behind the emotions.

Do you listen to respond or to understand? Do you care about the person or only proving you're right? Wars are not ended with bombs, but communication and negotiation. Talking things out often stop wars from even starting. Use a soft, gentle answer to bring healing, not more hurt or offense. Be mindful of what and how you say things and you will find more ways to make a great day!
